Examples and type of photo you must provide for CA Fair Plan application.
Front of the House
Take a full shot of the home’s front exterior.
Make sure the number of stories is visible.

Roof Condition
Show as much of the roof as possible from the ground.
Take at an angle that captures the full surface (to check for wear, missing shingles, etc.).

Electrical Panel
Close-up with the panel door open; breakers and labels visible.

Exterior Clearance
Show defensible space: no debris, trimmed vegetation, and no tree contact with the building.

Interior Condition
Wide-angle photo showing clean, habitable interior (walls, ceiling, flooring).

Fire Extinguisher
Close-up photo, mounted or stored visibly.

Driveway
Photo showing the full driveway and any parking area.
Helps assess access for emergency vehicles and overall condition.

🔁 Photo Submission Tips
The photos must be taken within 7 days prior to submission.
The advertisement photos from the real estate site(s), screenshots from Satellite map, or any pictures that can be found on the internet are not accepted. The system has their way to detect it.
Photos taken by your smartphone are accepted.
Photos must be clear, color, and not blurry.
Take during daylight for best visibility.
Send via email or upload link as directed by your broker or agent.
File names aren’t required but labeling can help (e.g., “roof.jpg,” “interior.jpg”).
